Greece is in the Schengen Area. Your passport needs to be valid at least 3 months after you leave Schengen — that's 26 August 2026 minimum. We recommend the 6-month buffer (26 November 2026) — many airlines won't board without it.

Australian passport holders enter Greece visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. ETIAS (the new EU travel authorisation) is not yet required — it kicks in later in 2026, after this trip.
